One of the cornerstones of Beta Theta Pi is a dedication to mutual assistance. The chapter expects each member to strive to make a meaningful contribution to his university, fraternal and local communities. Our responsibility to community extends beyond philanthropy, calling for Betas to give their time to the service of their communities. The chapter provides opportunities for our members to get involved through numerous partnerships with local service organizations and by hosting several major philanthropy events each year.

For more information on our chapter's two major annual philanthropy events, check out our Surf for the Cure and Almost Famous pages.

Beta Theta Pi In the Face -  Each semester, our new pledge class designs and implements a philanthropy event for a charity of their choice. A yearly favorite is our event Beta Theta Pi in the Face.

This past semester, our Fall 2015 Pledge class consisting of only 6 members raised over $300 for the Wounder Warrior Project.

Check out the video from the spring 2013 pledge class. Their fundraiser for the MS society raised over $1,100. Video put together by now senior Kevin Nelson.
